Good find. Hopefully he turns it around the rest of the week.

With little experience as a starting quarterback and a system not favorable to quarterbacks, Jarrett Lee may only get an invitation to an NFL camp and compete for a backup job. If he can find a team to ride the bench and develop, Jarrett Lee could be the next Matt Flynn.
I genuinely hope he makes it, but this seems to be his most likely path.
He'd still be a better pro QB than Jamarcus Russell though.

Good Luck in the NFL Lee!

Well, he couldn't possibly be any worse than Curtis Painter, so I think he should get a chance.

All that said, it's over. Lee should have played, les is stubborn, it cost us, move on.
I just hate incompetence....
we pay him $4 MM to make the right decisions.
if we start settling for the wrong decisions,
I'd be willing to make them for much less money

And people are angry Kiel backed out. Why would any passing qb want to come to LSU

Seriously if you were advising Kiel, if you were his former coach, his father after the fiasco in N.O. what would you tell him to do, much less what he is telling himself. The credibility issues are much farther reaching than LSU fans.
I want Les to stay at LSU but I also want to know what happened.

You act like all pro-style QBS = all other pro style QBs. And all athletic QBs = all other athletic QBs.
Lee wasn't an elite player at LSU and stumbled big time against Alabama in the first match up. Also when JJ was QB we didn't go to a full out spread like some people are implying. Yes they was some oprion and read option when he played but it probably wasn't more than 20% of the offense.
Kiel didn't leave because of the Lee, he left because of distance and depth chart. That's been reported all along.

Where is TigrLee?
Did he commit suicide? Or a crime after Jan 9th?
If banned I bet he's written SO many letters to the editor.

This all star game was a joke.
They didn't allow any extensive blitzing.
Lee was nowhere close to Flynn's caliber.

C'mon.
A freakin SPORTS WRITER in TUCSON, AZ says a QB playing in an "all-star" game is NFL ready.
Just what qualifies a sports writer in Tucson to judge NFL talent? Did you see the defensive "all-stars" Lee threw against?
I have nothing against Lee. I wished he more opportunitiy to play this year. But his performances over four years against some of the best the defenses in college football show something different.
And if could not clear cut beat out Jefferson for the starter position, it says a lot.
I hope Lee has a good career in the NFL if he makes it that far.
But I am not taking what some sport writer in Tucson says at much face value.
In the words of the prophet many worship here...
"It is time to move on....."
