No school stays up forever,
Here are some good schools that have been down (as far as the NC is concerned)
USC, no NC in 5 years
Mich, no NC in 11 years
Ohio St, no NC in 7 years
Okla, no NC in 9 years
Bama, no NC in 17 years

Yes, that us correct, Bama hasn't won the NC in 17 years and we are complaining?

And don't give me that 12-0 bullsh*t, close only counts in horse-shoes.
