[quote]jacoby jones is really struggling and showed a lot of frustration tonight

I heard. I did not make the game tonight (gonna miss the whole series unfortunately), but I talked to my dad and he said that he hit the ball hard a couple of times but they made some great plays.

The 0 for tewell line was pretty awesome also. Such a perfect name for a right fielder

he put a nice swing on a ball to right center that the CF ran down(their CF was pretty damn good), then got an RBI robbed from him by the SS on a great play

jared foster needs to be playing, btw

SS also climbed the ladder and snagged a JJ line drive. But he needs to come around.

bap, i havent been impressed by yocom. how about foster at 2nd? or maybe him in LF and slaid at DH

slaid and foster are our 2 best hitters right now, they need to be in the lineup together, imo

If he continues to hit, he'll be in the lineup. Things will shakeout over the next 3 weekends. As we know, we can't make judgments after a few games. If we did, Jones would be benched. My dad said that the App St. starter tonight seemed legit. What did you think?

I felt a little of last year coming out in the student section. When the students heckle our own players.

They play in a decent conference. I hate missing these games, but I am in Jackson for Millsaps parents weekend. These 3 games will be the only games I miss this year.

No doubt Foster has had the better bat of the two to this point. Yocom was very solid in the field again tonight though. I don't think he gets unseated for awhile because he's hitting just enough.

He was decent but not at the level we'll see from top sec Friday nights. We should've hit a little better. Don't remember any extra base hits and few hits strung together.

Yea, that is what I took from it reading the in game thread. But I was not there. We'll get better by the time SEC rolls around. At least we don't open with UF this year.

You sure? He turned on one ball but settled for a single.

Forgot about Katz but yeah Hanover didn't go to second. Left fielder got over quickly.
