Ponchy Tiger I was there...for my money, probably the greatest game and biggest win ever. That crowd was unreal, " Leaping " Floyd Bailey was huge in OT.

I was there with my two brothers, the older one worked at Dow and me and my younger brother were students. We sat about four rows from the court. After the game we stormed the court. I remember the campus police chasing us all over the court, trying to make the students get off. One cop had a student in a head lock. I ran up to him and said “why don’ t you just shoot him”. He let the guy go and tried to get me, but I was too fast for the pot belly guy. It was so hot we had our shirts off. I remember praying Rick Mattick would make his free throws. What great memories...
