NTU clearing out for pt guard again. Good defense from bass, misses shot, but put back good.
LSU, continues with the weave motion. Possesion fails. NOt sure if we missed or turned it over.
NTU ball, there in a motion offense now. A pretty nice looking motion offense. They're pretty good. OMG. Long 3 pointer for NTU, gets an incredible bounce. Good
LSU answers.
NTU back into a little slow down offense. Stolen by LSU. LSU misses in transition
END OF GAME.

this was very disappointing, lack of effort on players and coaches, sloppy, uninspired. Looked like they had given up on the season!- I am sure they haven't but it looked that way

NTU is pretty good. I'm still not sure if they're quite as good as we made them look though.
Overall, not a very good showing for LSU. Defense was poor for much of the game and the offense wasn't very consistant.
I also see a dilema at pt guard. Bass seems to be a much better defender than Stringer, and at least for tonight, broke the defense down much better than Stringer. However, we lose some scoring ability when Stringer is on the bench. I'm pretty sure, using both guys on the court at the same time wouldn't be an option either because it wouldn't work on defense.

I'd also like to see us at least throw a zone defense out there on a night like tonight. Mixing defenses is effective more times than not. At least have a zone defense or two as an option. No reason not to in my eyes but, Johnson, like many many other coaches who believe in man to man, are so reluctant to do it. It's like it's personal, or insults their manhood or something. It shouldn't be that way. It should at least be in the arsenal.

just got home from the game as well.. will not go to another game unless they serve free beer.. they charged more money this year and the product on the floor is not even close to being worth it..

Not necessary.. Just really pissed about tonight... I wasnt expecting a whole lot this year but we are really bad
