Lot of good points made on this thread. Last 5 minutes ou played like the #1 team and we didn't. I do wish that Simmons would take over and at least touch the ball in the last couple of minutes. All n all its just a moral victory without a W in the win column. I think our guys played lights out, just not enough stops at the end and ou took the game. Hate it.

LSU did alot better than I thought they should. Was a great contest and we should be proud of the Tigers.

That's true had they made them we wouldn't be talking about the last 3 seconds of the game. I'm more referring to them erasing a 10 point deficit the last 5/6 minutes and we couldn't get stops. LSU leading 65-60 and they bury back to back 3's killed us, to take the lead. We fought back but they made more clutch shots in the last minute than we did.

I'm happy LSU hung in with the #1 team
But they should have won and they should fricking be a top 10-12 team because of Simmons alone. I've said recently that the rest of the team is mediocre but Q, Victor, Hornsby and others are all good players. It showed tonight.
It's absurd that there are seemingly no plays specifically drawn up to get Simmons in 1 on 1 situations except for when he takes the ball down the floor or gets in the post.
Simmons coming off of double screens catching the ball in motion is what I want to see. Why does he never get the ball while he's cutting to the basket? His game is designed for that shite.
Whatever, I'm done for the weekend
