Either LSU or Wisconsin plays TCU for the BCS Championship!
I have been saying LSU over TCU in Glendale since October. Wisky cannot jump LSU in BCS if LSU beats Arky, which LSU will.
Auburn will lose to Bama and USCe. Matchups and venue DO NOT favor Barners.
Oregon needs to slip against Arizona. Since this game is at Autzen, Oregon may mess up the prediction. Oregon State at Corvalis is the backup at the Civil War...
And we may need Boise to lose or play close to Nevada now.

I think it is more likely than not that LSU will NOT pass Boise if both win out ... Therefore, even though it is certainl ypossible that LSU passes Boise in BCS without Boise losing, I really think we need Boise to lose to Nevada. And FWIW, I think there is a really good chance that Nevade upsets Boise anyway.

This happening would make my Thankgiving, Christmas, and New Years all in one.

all the madness kicks off this Friday!... Just wait.
I think we get the Boise loss and Auburn loss this week, but I think Oregon beats Arizona.
So going into next week, we need Oregon St to beat Oregon and South Carolina to beat Auburn.

I doubt they would do a TCU/Boise State NCG so I don't think one of them losing is absolutely necessary, but AU and Oregon definitely need to.

Like I said, I think I'm in agreement here, but I sure would feel better if Nevada went ahead and beat Boise Friday night.

The Badgers have to lose. They are killing our rankings right now. With us coming in 6th in both the Harris and the Coaches we cannot pass anyone. If we can dominate Ar-Kansas, and Wisconsin losses to Northwestern then we can possibly start to catch up. Without Wisconsin losing we won't be going anywhere.

While this may be partially true, I disagree with this. I think you open up a whole other can of worms if Wisconsin were to lose. The Ohio State push would then begin assuming all of the other dominos fall into place. I'm not saying you are not correct ... you may very well be. But I do not think it is absolutely necessary for Wisconsin to lose to get LSU into the BCSCG conversation.
Theoretically, the ideal thing for LSU in terms of the Big10 is to have all three Big10 teams lose again (Wiscy, Ohio State, MichSt), although that is highly, highly unlikely to happen. But that would certainly solve the Big10 problem as far as LSU is concerned.
Nonetheless, again, I don't think it is absolutely necessary for Wisconsin to lose.

I just don't see how LSU can move up with 2/3 of the BCS being human rankings. We will never get put above them as long as we both have 1 loss.
That being said I do not really worry about Ohio State making a claim. If it comes down between tOSU and LSU then there has to be some memory of LSU defeating them in for the 2007 BCSCG. It is easier for LSU to get ranked higher than Ohio State in both the Coaches poll and the Harris. Ideal situation is all three of them lose this week an turn the Big10 into chaos. They all face opponets who could defeat them. Michigan, Penn St, NW.

Thing is... we are ALREADY above Wisconsin in the BCS standings, even with Wisconsin already having the lead on us in both human polls. The only thing that worries me about Wisconsin is voters eventually dropping LSU further than they deserve to prevent LSU from getting in over Wisconsin.
This isn't like years past where voters could "hop" LSU with Wisconsin, as they already have Wisconsin ahead of LSU.
Like I said, the Big10 champ is a concern, but not nearly as big of a concern IMO as a 1-loss Big12 champion. The 3-way tie situation in the Big10 is a good thing for LSU IMO.

ESPN would not allow this unlikley scenario.

The more I think about it, I don't think it is absolutely necessary for Boise to lose. Would it help? Certainly, but I think there is a fair - albeit small - chance LSU could pass Boise in the BCS even without Boise losing as there will be voter backlash for a TCU-Boise title game.
truth
A Boise/TCU BCSCG will NOT happen, take it to the bank

I absolutely cannot wait til Friday. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, though. As to not get totally let down Friday, the ONLY THING that we ABSOLUTELY NEED Friday is an Alabama win over Auburn.
A Boise loss would be nice, but is not ABSOLUTELY necessary. An Oregon loss would also be nice, but it is not ABSOLUTELY necessary, as they can still lose next week at Oregon State.
only game we have to have Friday is Bama over Auburn. Boise would be some big time lagniappe, though. And, of course, we then have to take care of business Saturday, which is a given.

Your right, long shot. But if it does happen, no way Wisconsin goea ahead of us.
There is not any way if we take care of business and better yet blow out the 12th razorbacks that Wisconsin jumps us!
