Obviously they didn't get the memo from saban. This play had nothing to do with the outcome. They(LSU) would have to go 69yds against the best D of all time.

They can have it any way they want it and it does not effect the play call either way. The only thing that matters is the position of the person in control of the ball, hereby known as Patrick Peterson. Jones' position on or off the field is irrelevant to the call. Case closed.
