Ole Miss for sure. taking Hill out due to a fumble was stupid. and YES I believe it cost LSU the game.He should have carried the rock at least 25 times in the Ole Miss game. So he might have gotten wore-out. You had Furman coming up with a bye week after. Plenty of time to rest for Bama. I will say this. For LSU to beat Bama Hilll needs 25-30 carries and get at least 150 yds.

It's a big one. LSU needs to show they can keep pace, otherwise we're officially a notch below. All the LSU/Bama talk officially moves to Bama and everyone else.

We could have ended it on 1/9, beaten them 3 in row. Instead we were humiliated in our own state by our former coach.

IMO, no. His biggest regular season game was Bama 2010. Coming off 2 bad seasons where we beat none of the big boys, we had just lost to SCam and Auburn and should have lost to a bad UT team. Feeling was about like this game. We have no shot and Les can't win the big one, etc. We go win that one and stay in the hunt for 2010. We showed we were in the elite again. I really believe that win was a fork in the road win and set us up for the 2011 run.

If he loses this one, oh well we are already just spoilers. Just feel like Met's talent (which we have waited for for SO long) will be wasted without a signature win like this...

Was it totally ruled out that he was slightly injured? If not yes that was horrible. Somewhere I saw someone make the example if Gurley fumbled would MR put him on the bench for the rest of the game.

Then look no further than LSU. We are putting a ton of players in the NFL. Bama does as well but manages to keeps players at the college level longer. How do they do that? I wonder.....

Not quite. I don't think there is nearly the pressure many think. Don't most expect LSU to lose?

If LSU loses badly the A&M game may be the biggest of his career.

Definitely. Biggest game of Miles' career by a long shot. A thousand times more significant than any SEC title game he's been in, and a few hundred times bigger than the '07 and '11 BCSNC appearances.

Really?

Do we need to go over the Ole Miss offensive game plan in the first half all over again with you people??

Ole Miss and Miles still has four games to screw-up and be assured, he will screw-up.

If you try to blame the Ole Miss loss on Met, the game plan was to run it and wear out the depleted Ole Miss defense. Running Hill would have worked but Miles put Hill on the bench creating the situations where Met had to throw and he had a bad night. Miles, openned the door by benching the best offensive weapon we could use, and changed the game completely. We gave Ole Miss the momentum and were consistantly playing from behind which had the exact opposite effect and wore our defense out, thus providing the final drive FG for the Ole Miss win.

Pretty big blunder in my mind.

Monday morning So had we gotten the 1 yard an run the clock out it would have been a great play....or better yet, had we missed the FG you would be bitching that CLM was stupid for kicking when we could have gotten the 1st and run more time off the clock.

He's blamed for EVERYTHING, yet not given credit for bringing the team back to the point that they were leading the game with 1:30 on the clock last year. You want to revisit history--go review the final minute of the 1st half and the final minute and a half of the 4th quarter and you will find your answer.

if we were to lose...and go downhill thereafter w/ an 8 - 4 season....yes, it would be huge.

1/9/12
last yr Bama and Fl
this year Ole Miss
....
I can argue that the above games were lost due to poor team preparation, at least in part.
