Here's an excerpt from a 2003 article that gives some stats on Cannon. Cannot vouch for their accuracy.

To be accurate it might help to know the weight of shot put.

True all though running with the shot at any weight tends to take away from your top end speed. Billy was a hell of an athlete.

Whos confusing meters and yds. 109 meters per 100 yds. U.S ran yds until 1980. All stats are yds till then
