Tucker is head coach of a much larger program

2. Predicted that LSU fans could know something in 2 1/2 to 3 weeks about the next head coach
There is absolutely zero chance we know the coach before the end of the season unless it is someone not currently coaching, like Petersen.

4. Noted that Coach O told Aranda to leave and find a job, because Ed O was changing defenses
This makes my blood boil.

Also noted that Aranda never showed interests in being a head coach until that happened and the Baylor opening occurred.
Interesting. Makes me worry if it is something he is passionate about. Who knows, maybe he's found it to be his calling though.

8.Described trying to get Riley or Oregon’s coach Cristobol or Cincy Ohio’s coach Fickell as “pie in the sky”
Agreed 100% with Riley. I do think Cristobal could be a possibility but I don't see him being someone Woodward would be pursuing.

9.The ones more likely are Aranda, Napier or Tucker. Noted that Tucker’s offense is not as high powered as LSU would like, that he would need to hire a really good OC.
Agree 100%. Any of those three would be OK. I'd take Napier first, then Aranda, but be at least satisfied with Tucker. I c they are looking for someone who will excite and engage the fan base, it ain't him.

Everyone made fun of the binder
Ed is the only one laughing now. Aranda, the constant professional, should have been the guy, he saw what O was doing and now sees the results.

And replace him with another guy Les hired? What a fricking disaster this guy is. fricking Joe Alleva.

No, maybe you and pirate king. But not 90% of the board.

The fabricated stuff posted here is nuts. LSU fans loved Aranda, we always complain about everyone but nearly all wanted him at LSU!

In other words, Aranda has learned what NOT to do from Ed.

Are you too young to remember John Wooden or even Dean Smith.

6. Don’t see how Jimbo can be the guy after his remarks Monday in a press conference. How would he explain that later?
Saban said he wasn't going to Alabama on Dec. 21st 2006 and was announced as the coach Jan 3rd 2007. Of course Jimbo is going to say stuff like that during the season. Until a hire is made I don't believe what any coach says about interest or disinterest.

Aranda defense in 2018 and 2019 got lit up for huge yardage Lest you forget
Posted on 10/29/21 at 3:09 pm to TrueTigerTale
No coach that we want is coming in 2 or 3 weeks. And agree completely that most of the names floated are patently absurd.

Seems to me the general consensus among the rant posters to dave aranda was don’t let the door hit you in the arse

Every LSU coach and assistant has had this happen to him including Saban. They scream like their butts on fire then cool off. We’re notorious for this!

And he made adjustments, evidently something we haven't done this year.
