Yeah, the Pac will be exposed with Oregon losing to LSU. We will never rebound!
Well, that sarcasm is actually kind of true. That will make 2 losses to SEC NC winners. Thus, if ever in the near future, the PAC 10-12 was against an SEC team for a bowl spot or a NC spot, we would prolly win out.

I think at the end of the day, it's about a football game.
Exactly.
No matter who wins the game.
It will not be due to number crunching or 'feeling like we weren't going to lose' against common opponents from the previous season.

Last season, both LSU and Oregon played Tennessee. Oregon started off slowly in the first half, but ended up blowing out Tennessee in the second half. Oregon won 48-13 at Tennessee.
This is garbage.

Agreed! The SEC keeps getting stronger and stronger. It will only get worse for the PAC-whatever from here on out.

Must have missed it, I read through the thread pretty quickly and didn't notice. Oh well, it doesn't hurt that it was restated

Oregon and their fans actually think just making it to the NCG puts them with the elite

Oregon is going to be just fine. 'SC gets to sign nine guys this year. Guess who will be cleaning up in SoCal?

LSU Defense: "zone blitz"
Oregon Offense: "uh-oh"
Oregon Offense: "uh-oh"

LSU pretty much lost to Tennessee if they don't have more than 11 men on the field

I know. However, you have alambama so enjoy second in the SEC West. We'll be in a BCS bowl.

is a a real piece of work, I mean how are you still here talking trash to tiger fans seriously??

Okay a few quick points. Let's just scratch the common opponents idea. Alabama beat Tennessee like 41-10. LSU beat Alabama. So if we were to play the common opponent angle I guess LSU would beat Oregon because Oregon blew out Tennessee the same way Alabama did. Plus the one thing you left out in comparing was that LSU lost to Auburn on road by one touchdown as opposed to on a neutral site like Oregon played them.
Let's not just say if LSU improves a little on offense but Oregon loses key players on defense which is already their weaker side of the field in the game. That only helps the LSU offense. And an LSU offense that is used to seeing SEC defenses all season.
In the end it should be a good game. It will have the same question the national title game had last year. Will it be an offensive or defensive game?

Auburn held Oregon's O to 19 points, and LSU's 2011 D will be about twice as better as Auburn's. If LSU can improve its O just a little bit from last season, LSU should beat Oregon.

What are our chances of making the Rose Bowl? Pretty high.
