Did I say this was not the case?
And did I say anything untruthful even? It was the amount of Defensive domination that impressed me not just that the D was ahead some. Of course D's are usually ahead at spring. Even still the play on the D impressed me much. And it also seemed to impress our coaches and other fans. Next time sigh to yourself where you will feel important. Your tripping on your ego there Mike.

The point is you were trying to argue that we aren't worried about our defense because our defense was really impressive in the Spring, while the reality is that defense is always ahead of the game in Spring. I'm just saying it doesn't help your argument any.

And it doesn't surprise me that you have some sort of history with another Duck fan, given your posting style, but I assure you I don't know you. (I am not a "mike.")

It's hard to do but you have to have a thick skin to post on this board. All teams have great expectations before the season starts. Reality doesn't set in until a few games are played. As I posted, we have a few new names popping up that are unproven. Only time will tell if these guys are players.

Both teams are top #5 teams. It's going to be one hell of a ride until game day.

I can't wait to read the reprots coming out of fall camp. There is plenty of talent on both rosters that are very young.

Win or lose, both teams still can be in the national championship game if they run the table after this early loss. With that said, even you would have to admit that LSU has a tougher row to plow. I love the excitement that this game will generate. Should put both teams in the national spotlight. The winner will have a jump start on every other team trying to make it to the national championship game. Many are already putting Oklahoma in because of their weak schedule and not having to play in a conference championship game.
