DA would have a recruiting advantage @ LSU. Same as any other coach who came here, including BK.

I will be absolutely thrilled if we beat Bama on saturday, but I don't think we will win. Too many issues on defense.

I can be a fan of LSU & not like the HC.

The majority of the fanbase hated Les Miles & Ed Orgeron. The majority of Saints fans hate Dennis Allen. How is me not liking BK any different?

I am undecided. I thought he was too old for that contract, but then I realized who negotiated it. Wonder if he is here for the entire 10 years.

However, going 34-34 vs ranked teams in the 12 years @ ND is the main reason that I didn't want him hired here.

You still don't seem to understand that his ranked win percentage is pretty good, better than anyone else we could realistically get.

Coming into the season he was like 9th among active head coaches in ranked win percentage.

1. Ryan Day
2. Kirby Smart
3. Nick Saban
4. Lincoln Riley
5. Dabo Swinney
6. Chip Kelly
7. Jimbo Fisher (he is falling on the list every year)
8. Josh Heupel (fairly small sample size)
9. Brian Kelly
10. Jim Harbaugh

So realistically, the only better one we could've pulled is maybe Chip Kelly from that list and you wouldn't want him because he's 60.

The coach you want doesn't exist.

But Baylor had some real bad ads teams the 10 years leading up to DA. He obviously hasn’t outrecruited the coaches
Before him. Or maybe he is just as good a coach as
You seem to think…

I understand your point man. BK was the best veteran coach available at the time. I didn't want a guy with 30+ years experience, I wanted a young coach.

I don't know how else to say it.

ok, let's go about this a different way.

Does LSU have a recruiting advantage over Baylor regardless of who is coaching either team?

Yes or NO

So stop making all these excuses about records and ranked wins and just say you simply have a problem with his age.

No program in LSU's position is gambling on an unproven guy in his 30's or early 40's and there aren't really many of those guys anyway.

You say Dave Aranda is "figuring it out" but he's nearing 50, if he's 55 by the time he "figures it out, he's too old for you.

And the reality is he's about to be fired from Baylor and he'll go back to being a defensive coordinator.

You were high on Napier, he is a "younger guy", was hired at the same time as BK, and is 11-10 at Florida. Yet you're crying about BK being 16-6.

Just say you don't like BK because of his age or whatever other nonsensical reason and stop trying to blame it on actual football reasons because by all accounts, simply as a football coach, he was the best option available.

Who did you want as our new coach? I see you were in favor of Mario Cristobal, James Franklin, Lincoln Riles & Dave Aranda.

Jvap, OMG you got me!! Coming wit all dat smoke.

Those were all names that were everybody's discussions. It worked out way better than any of those options. BK wasn't even being discussed as an option. Good thing I don't base my opinions on electric cars, chewing referees arse, having too much experience and an accident caused by a weather event. You are without a doubt def a seat biter.

Appreciate you taking the time and the attempt to "jsmoke" me.

Yes they do. However the last 10 years Baylor has been really good. But THIS year with his own recruits they have struggled bigtime. How come the previous coaches were able to be better.
