what about walking around campus or surrounding areas with alcohol or beer in a cup...

yeah, it's not hard.... flask in the drawers works every time
That's not the main problem that people are discussing here. It's once you pour yourself a drink in the stadium and you better be watching your back...

Watch out for plainly dressed people checking your drinks outside the stadium. They will walk up and start with something like "so who do you think will win the game" then ask you to pour your drink out. Last time I was there they had to have about five cops subdue a fellow named Boudreaux over a drink.
They had their hands full to say the least.

had some friends get the boot in the first half of the '06 game, but then again they were also raising hell in the UF student section, so when one saw the flask it was over...they went and told security
every time I have sat in just an LSU section I have always been cool... hell, two weeks ago I was in the Ole Miss section at the UF game and pouring away with about 4-5 others with flasks and no cops were in sight despite Hotty Toddy being yelled every 5 mins and Ole Miss winning

when I got busted I was told that you need a lid on the cup and you're good

If you are sitting in an LSU section, then you are a lot better off. I've done the same on the road, but I'm not sure about this weekend. I would hate to piss away watching the Tigers play over some whiskey.

Two years ago I was walking to the stadium holding an empty beer can that i had crushed. I was looking for a trash can and a cop stopped me and checked my ID. Jeez Louise. It's EMPTY!!

valid point. my 3 friends were upset in '06 when they drove all the way through the night to be at the game and pay $100/ticket just for a student ticket and then got tossed out midway through the first quarter
get creative if possible. used to know some kids from the vet school at LSU who came through with IV bags you could fill with whiskey and tape to your waste and run the hose through your shirt... creativity lowers risk, remember that boys and girls

Every game I go to, I bring pocket shots. Easy to put 2 in each sock and you are good to go. I think you can only get them in Texas right now. They are $2 each at Specs.

me and some friends went in 06. before we even popped a top, a cop came up and asked us if it was our first time there, which we told him it was, and all he did was warn us to go to the corner store and buy cups (didn't mention lids) to put our liquor in so we could walk around with no troubles. i don't know if the rules have changed or not, but defnitely bring cups, and maybe lids and straws just in case.

Why does our society (outside of Louisiana) not allow us about walking around in public with a drink? Crazy.

are the pocket shots' sealed well? good enough to where if you put in your shoe they would not leak or bust?

Is it as easy as getting stuff into Tiger Stadium?

I got ratted out by a bunch of Florida fans for popping their beach ball (that they were slamming down on our heads with) with my pocket knife... long story short i was kicked out and almost written up my senior year for being a "Terrorist"...no kidding.

yea i agree even bama fans i wouldn't rat out. rat is the lowest form of a human but i would expect no better from people that love jorts.

I was taken to jail and charged with open containter. I was either 23 or 24. This was like two Benny Hill games ago.
