It's Perrilloux's fault.

2 to 3 losses, MAYBE could be put on Perrilloux, but the defense cost us 4 of our 5 losses.

That means we have total 6-8 losses. I thought we had 5. What am I missing?

BTW - you are wrong, this is pretty much all RP's fault. The defense admittedly had problems, and I'm not saying we'd be going to an NC if we had RP. We'd be a 2 loss runner-up to the SEC West bound for the Capital One Bowl. But the defense - however bad it is - will always do worse when the offense makes a habit out of turning the ball over.

How many three and outs did our defense have this year? You could just as easily make the argument that our defense, by giving up a ton of yards, put the offense in a weak position by forcing the young quarterbackS to start a drive from deep in our territory. The offense didn't keep the defense on the field. It was their inability to make stops on third downs.
Arkansas, with a freshman quarterback, and all second team running backs drove the length of the field on their first scoring drive and never had a third down. Two downs was all they needed to drive the length of the field. How could you blame that on JJ?

Roygu, good point! The defense played horrible in the game at Arkansas. This was not JJ's fault. I commend JJ for a great game. He put the tigers in a position to win. Also, this was the first game that LSU did not allow a turnover. Many ranters are saying that the problem was the defense the entire season. I watched these games over and over again and found that the defense did play with a lot of heart and intensity in many of the games. The offense put the defense in some tough situations as well. However, the Arkansas game was not one of them. JJ did great in my opinion.

I agree, he screwed us and his life. We will be fine next year after this horrible disaster of a season.

If he had never come here we would have had Chase or Colt. I think they would have been quite an upgrade

one player never makes a team. It takes a team effort, this team lacked leadership and discipline across the board.

No, but one player can make a huge difference. Ole Miss would not be anything without Jevan Snead. You can also make the same case with players like Colt McCoy, Graham Harrell, and Chase Daniels over there in the Big 12. The quarterback postion is one of the most important and it's a position that you cannot afford to lose at times.

Thanks Bernie! They need to look at the facts. Texas would not be in contention is they didn't have Colt McCoy. Same thing in our situation. If you don't have a good quarterback, it's going to make the entire team suspect.
