Running out on the floor during the Tennessee game was probably the wrong thing to do but I'm not sure I wouldn't have done it too. That was a horrific display of basketball and sport by the Volunteers. They were not playing a game as much as trying to injure a superstar on purpose.

Carlos Groves deserved to be castrated for that shite. unfricking believable and Roy Kramer was no fricking help either...that scumbag.

why not. people keep mentioning him for assistant coach, and that he'd be a great NOLA recruiter. He's the coach of an NBADL team. Just give him the team. Can't be any worse than we have now.

Even though we went to the Final Four in 06, that was 1 of just 5 NCAA Tournament trips in EIGHTEEN YEARS!

Yeah, that's a pretty weak number there, 5/18.

I don't think there has been as much commitment to basketball as there should have been since then. Even though we recently had a new practice facility, almost every other SEC team has a relatively legit practice facility. Some SEC teams have better gyms

Commitment, the AD can't win games for the team. The only commitment needed is to upgrade the pracitce facilty, which they have, and to pay a good coach the right amount of money to get him here. Unfortunately, we are not really a program that can steal a good coach from another good program, we have to find the "diamond in the rough".

Tasteless suggestion! All you have to do is hold one up and make a bunch of noise with 90000 people walking past.

he's not even qualified to be a HC. I don't think he has a college degree.

I think it will take boat loads of money to get a coach with a track record at LSU.

This coach needs to be on a slow boat to China. He ain't worth a stanky shite.

I know this will set off a round of laughter and snide remarks, but apparently he graduated from the University of Phoenix. Don't know if that counts.

Fair enough, but I wouldn't take a chance on someone who has never coached at the college level IMO. I don't think he has ever mentioned any interest in coaching at that level. He may appear to be staying in the NBA.

LSU basketball is on rocky ground in a earthquake zone already. Why bring in a unknown commodity like Randy Livingston?

Alleva needs to do something to prove his worth here. He must pick the right guy or he'll get the Tennessee treatment.
