Net running for the 12 regular season games of 2010 ( LINK):

quote:

Stevan Ridley, 225-1042, 4.6
Jordan Jefferson, 111-383, 3.5
Michael Ford, 41-235, 5.7
Russell Shepard, 31-222, 7.2
Alfred Blue, 20-101, 5.1
Richard Murphy, 23-82, 3.6
Spencer Ware, 14-73, 5.2
Josh Jasper, 3-45, 15.0
Deangelo Peterson, 1-23, 23.0
TEAM, 4--34, -8.5
Jarrett Lee, 10--46, -4.6
Total, 483-2126, 4.4
Opponents, 449-1630, 3.6

And #7 PP leads us in all-purpose yards (returns/rushing/receiving), which I'm not sure if that's supposed to make me laugh or cry...

Pa. Peterson, 1403
Stevan Ridley, 1103
Rueben Randle, 535
Russell Shepard, 476
Terrence Toliver, 467
Jordan Jefferson, 383
Michael Ford, 265
Deangelo Peterson, 221

This is amusing. Watching the aggies be so confident and thinking if they had played tannehill they would be undefeated. Cant wait to watch it all unfold for them when we embarrass them in the cotton bowl

haha ... yards are yards. Sounds like the guy has taken a ton of pressure off y'all's offense this year. Thanks for all the info sir.

Nah, I never ran for Yell Leader, but it's more than a full time job for the guys that are elected so I do respect 'em.

Not sure where you're reading anyone say we'd be undefeated if we'd played Tannehill all season. I'm not trying to communicate that. The tough thing about Jerrod Johnson was that he makes incredible plays and has the leadership qualities to bring you back when you're behind, but we were all pulling our hair out because the dude that got us so far was also shooting himself in the foot too often. Tannehill is still new, so I don't think we all know what we've got our hands on thus far. He did set records in his 1st start for us, and has done a much better job of preventing turnovers. His release is faster, and he goes through progressions faster, so he is sacked less as well. I have to believe things would be different, but I'm not about to say we'd be undefeated. Crap happens. Who knows what that crap may have been though.

Question for any aggie:

Do yall still do a flyover for every single home game? I wish LSU would do that, gives me chills and gets the crowd fired up every time that happens!

Still do. Although at the Nebraska game the flyover happened a couple hours before the game during our Spirit Walk because (apparently) they're not allowed to do flyovers in the dark and it was a night game.

The Aggies can definitely play with LSU, don't even listen to the people predicting 52-10. However, it is doubtful "ya'll" win. The athletes at LSU are simply far superior, but jordan jefferson and our down syndrome offensive coaching staff would keep it close for sure. There is a opportunity for an upset here.

Arkansas - Our common opponent, and a game the Ags feel they would've won if we'd switched QB's prior to the game (JJ tossed a good # of interceptions due to his shoulder being operated on, whereas Tannehill has a quicker release and has thrown few INTs). All that said ... back to your game: Looks like Mallett did his thing and killed y'all through the air on big plays. Your offense didn't help yet again. Essentially shut out of the red zone in the 2nd half of the game. Rushing D did decent.

And we LSU fans feel as though we could have won if it were not for Hatcher being on the field.

On defense a standout talent can really take advantage of y'all (Cam in rushing, Mallett in passing).

Good Thing A&M doesnt have any standout talent.

Start working on you excuses for why you're going to lose.

McNeese St. - D performs the same against them as you do against upper-echelon SEC teams. Offense is unimpressive, despite the score.

Really? You would have to be one hell of a football fan to follow Texas A&M and to have watched or know anything about this game besides the box score.

TROLL ALERT

Mallett got 3 big plays that skewed the stats for that game (one of them a TD bomb on 4th and 3, and another a 80-yd TD with :06 left in the first half). LSU had a very good plan for defending Arkansas's passing attack

^^^
the beauty of it was, we didn't have to pass to beat lsu in second half

Neither did Auburn. They ran on 26 of their last 27 plays against us, because our running D sucks so horribly (the only pass being a confused-looking incompletion on 4th and short, because Chizik is stupid).

see this reminds of GT talking all there smack back in 08 when they were suppose to kill us. We all know how that runed out and I see this game very possibly being the same.

Cyrus Gray is arguably the best running back in the Big XII the 2nd half of the season (against our stronger competition). This includes Kendall Hunter and Demarco Murray. He racks up big #s in the 2nd half to put games away.
