I used to like Gary and hate Verne. But not anymore, his constant shilling for Cammie Cam makes me wonder if he got a cut of that 200k. Just plain disgusting!!

Odd that this post is true..coverge was poor
-felt like we were sitting in the nose bleed area
-but heard after the game that one field camera was removed cause a few passes hit the wires which might account for the distant coverage
Was this the reason?

I think CBS should promote Gus Johnson to do the CBS College Football games and put Verne into retirement. Gus is excitable and known for his announcing of CBS College Basketball during the tournament.

I wonder what people would bitch about more?
#1 The SEC didn't have a contract with CBS & ESPN and the only way you could watch the games was on LSU pay-per-view.
#2 The current TV contract with CBS.
Personally, I pay more attention to what's happening on the field than what's being said in the booth.

I always imagine Verne Lundquist with a red crimson and white shaker singing along to Yea Alabama just because of how obvious he is that he always pulls for bama and florida.

Blackledge is good and really knows his stuff. Gary is 2nd rate like his NFL career and sometimes you wonder what game he's watching. Verne? Pretty bad, way past his prime.
