Jones "arrived on campus in 2007 as one of the most coveted safety prospects in the country." By his own admission, it's taken him 2 years of "get the feel" of football at the SEC level. Everyone who jumps on some 18 or 19-yr.-old kid for mistakes should read this and pause to consider what it means. Very, very few athletes come straight out of high school to star in the SEC. For every Tebow or Moreno or Julio Jones there are dozens and dozens of Chad Jonses—players with tons of potential who need a full year or two to play at this much higher level of competition. I hope Chad has a killer year ... along with everyone else on the team.
