Where did you get this press release?
I tailgate, but what about people who actually just park and go to the games? This means in order to drive your vehicle, park and go to the game you need to get there 12 hours early in some cases?

if you plan on parking inside the interior of campus (the little guardshacks) without a parking pass, than yes. Otherwise, not really that different.

and it's not like there's anywhere to park in that area anyway if you dont have a pass.

Yes there is, up until 11am or so, there are spots.

I have been going to the LSU games since 1960. I know my way around the campus but do not know all of the streets. We have been tailgating next to the tower on Tower Dr. Will we be able to get to our parking spot after 7 AM.

Call The Athletic Dept, tell them you need to speak to someone about why they changed the policy 10 days before kickoff.

We tailgate by the Indian Mounds and usually park 2 cars there on Friday and then on Saturday morning move the two cars with the ones that carry all of the supplies. This really sucks...now we are going to have to haul stuff a very long way.

see you read it the way i did too at first. it said the eastern most point is the parade grounds, not highland. highland and dalrymple all the way up to the guard shack are still ok.
