Thats football in today's world. They jack up prices every year and expect fans to suck it up and accept the product that was on the field this season. No way Jose. Not gonna pay to go up there and see the crap we saw this year.

I also received a call from Charles Scott. Since I have been shut out for both bowl and away game tickets for the last two years, my question is why haven't the corporate sponsors, legislators or TAF scooped up the tickets? I am not happy for having been shut out and being offered leftovers!

i think we are starting to hit the nail on the head here.
ok, i understand the reality of using priority for tickets to the big games as an inducement for donations and that the reality of big time college football today requires a lot of money.
(although you COULD make the case that is contrary to the definition of a 'donation' if you are getting something tangible in return...but that and exactly how much money we need are topics for another post)
on the other hand, we have been slapping many rank and file tiger fans in the face over the last 5-8 years by almost completely shutting them out of away game, championship game and bowl game tickets.
now that all those who were gobbling up the tickets before decided not to buy them, they are coming back to the rank and file.
how about this for an offer - for every peach bowl ticket you buy, you are guarenteed the right to purchase one away game/championship game/bowl game ticket of your choosing for next season.
