Look at what their OL gave up on sacks this year and look at ours. So that's our scheme? When are we going to get the right scheme then?
We don't have the QB, OL, WRs, TEs, DL or RBs that they do. Pretty much every position group you need to beat bama and go undefeated. You can't even run a damn scheme with the time our QB has. They protected that QB and is why their offense was effective not because of their scheme moron.
I guess Saban just knows how to pick every single OC and DC that knows how to put scheme the country every season huh? Has nothing to do with the players AND depth? If LSU has the right players to run this scheme it will be just fine.
Some of the play calls look like crap bc Steve can't trust all of his players to excecute his scheme. Not just bc he doesn't trust them but bc he's given them chances and they couldn't do it, especially against good competition. He's even admitted that he couldn't run his entire playbook bc of protections and WRs not getting separation.
LSU is now recruiting natural WRs who can run a route tree and not big athletes who can move in the ways needed to get open. You have to be fluid in your breaks and cuts and we haven't had those types since OBJ and Jarvis Landry. Joe Burrow didn't even have an offseason with this offense and he performed well given the circumstances. I think he knows offense better than you and he believes it's good enough to win. That's all that matters. You morons have no clue what you're talking about. All y'all do is blame the coaches like bringing in another offense will help this team. All that will do is put us another year behind.
O has made his choice and will stick with it until it's proven to be a bad choice. Next year will be a better measuring stick. If this team doesn't do a much better job next year then I'll start to say we might need to look some other place for coaches. We should have what we need next year to make a serious run. Look at the injuries and offseason suspensions alone would hurt most teams.
Ingram, Chassion, Taylor, an average running game, injuries to the OL. We mixed and matched all season. We moved pieces on defense all season also. We should be better next season but these kids need to work their butts off to help this team and program succeed also. Maybe our coaches need to do a better job motivating in the offseason and if there is a gripe from me that's the main one.

Im not sure anyone had the offense pegged npbecause of unknowns, but we started off worse than I expected.

You are wrong. Ross #8 was the FR WR from ALA, #1 recruit, who went to Clemson because Saban's ego of changing OCs and Position Coaches every year made him not trust who would be coaching him as opposed to Clemson, plus he liked Clemson better than ALA.
Scheme: Tempo, quick routes, creative routes, practice, Coaching/Development and all the players around him made him a star, especially his chemistry with the FR QB. Two FR deciding the CFP NC.
