Who knows some of the LSU injuries couldve been faked. BUT the WVU fans booing T-Bob Hebert being hurt? Completely classless and unecessary considering he is on offense and not breaking the rythym of the WVU offense. Fan football intelligence at its best!

LSU played well enough to make Lou Holtz to say after the game. To his ESPN TV views: This LSU team has a great defense. “West Virginia Phffffffffff.”
That after he just picked West Virgina to beat LSU in his ESPN TV show before the game that LSU won.
“Overall, our defense is upset. We’re very upset. We don’t like giving up yards. We don’t like missing tackles, but when you get a victory, you celebrate victory.”

I now think after the game is over that Defensive coordinator Chavis factored in the skill of his college team and played West Virginia not to let them score fast. That if they were to score it would be slowly and far in-between. That the way the game ended. LSU 47 WVU 21.

How awesome was it when WVU cut the lead to 6? I'll bet it was intense.
How bad did it suck to have LSU wake up and rip off 20 unanswered points and put your team away?

We had an older West Virginia couple sitting behind us....they started to get obnoxious as the game went on....when Ron Claiborne ran the kickoff back....I looked back at them and said, "that's LSU football.... "they couldn't handle the fact that even though theywere moving the ball, they were getting their butts whipped....thankfully,they left soon afterwards.....
