It is stupid and makes no sense but I've come to embrace the nickname. I mean who doesn't love corndogs? I know I do. Deep fried golden brown hotdog filled goodness. Throw in some mustard and I'm in heaven.

I think it has to do with us La boys being so well endowed.......like a corn dog.

Corndogs have about as much to do with Louisiana, LSU, and LSU fans as hula skirts and palm trees in Tuscaloosa.
I personally smell like Lifebouy, Mennen Speed Stick, and cologne. But during a football Saturday on campus that gives way to: sweat, peanuts, trout amandine, jambalaya, shrimp creole, BBQ brisket, fried catfish, etc.,
but not a fricking corn dog. Jeez.
