Ducre is most def a beast. Full on grown man at 18years old... ridiculous. Does anyone know how his hands are? I think he will get a lot of PT at fullback and he could be a serious weapon out of the backfield catching the ball. Pretty ridiculous that we have him behind LF and DWill. Thats a big, mean, physical backfield right there.
And then there's Guice, who could be the best blend of speed / explosiveness / burst and power on the team. We run it up the middle with LF, DWill, Ducre and wear them out, then bring Guice in who can take it to the house from anywhere on the field. And is an extremely physical RB that can break through tackles and pound it up the middle as well. Hes 1 of the toughest RBs ive seen in high school, he just refuses to go down. Also has the agility, burst, and vision to make people miss and gain big chunks of yards. And he can play WR too.
Guice JR year
Guice SR year
Kids gonna be a star... hes very similar to Cadillac Williams @ Auburn. Runs with that same type of mentality and mindset. And i think he will be returning kicks as well.
We dont need a great passing game, though i would love it if we had it. But all we need is an average passing attack and it will open up the running game so much more. Ridiculous that LF had over 1000 yards rushing last year considering we had 1 of the worst passing attacks in all of college football and went up against 8+ boxed majority of the time. If we can just get an average passing attack and have at least the threat to pass the ball... look out. Good luck trying to stop our rushing attack.
And we have a GREAT OL and WRs along with some great RBs. If the QBs can just get right, and im a believer in Harris and I still have faith in Cam, then we could have a very explosive offense. Stack the box to stop the run, we will hit you over the top to Dural or Dupre or Chark. Play in a base D, we will gash you up the middle. Play action should be unstoppable next year. And I think DeSean Smith really turns it up and becomes a mismatch nightmare that could really give us another element in the passing game. Could be a pretty damn explosive offense.

I love that he gets north & south as soon as he touches the football.......that's a running back maturity that most running backs just do not possess coming out of highschool.......

1) JT Curtis as OC
2) Run the Veer
3) 3 RBs with 1,000 yds rushing
4) Profit

Can someone set the record straight on how to pronounce Ducre and Guice's name
Is it
Duck-er or Doo-cray
Guyice or Juice

RB at LSU over the next two seasons will go down as one of the best stables in LSU history. Guice is absolutely filthy, and I have no idea why he isn't being talked about more. Ducre is a sledgehammer with track speed. Brossette will be the fifth option, and he could easily be a feature back in the SEC.
Agreed

this will be the best group since 2007
Fournette had the single best season by a LSU freshman back ever. By himself this year is going to be exciting but combined with Williams and Ducre will be special.
This is going to be a year folks will remember for a long time, the out of conference isn't as tough as last year and sets up pretty nice if we can get by Auburn at home.

I think Guice will be a star for us, but he is not better than LF at the above. LF will blow people away this year. I do think Guice is someone who may be too good to keep off the field, but where does he play? Ducre will be a beast.

Guice should be in the slot...a lot. Imagine Ducre at fullback, LF at tailback, Guice in the slot, Dupre and Dural on the outside.

Is it really necessary for our qb to throw?
Posted on 5/8/15 at 7:58 pm to 0jersey
Which is why I said "could be"
He and LF are clearly the top 2 in regards to the speed / burst / explosiveness + power combo. And LF should be as good as it gets in the nation this year.
Stacked at RB

I think Guice ends up in the slot as well. I think we could do serious damage with a two back set w LF and Guice. Have Dupre in the slot, play action to LF and go opposite Side screen to Guice and if corner/nickel tries to break on Guice, Dupre will be wide open on whoever.
