Not sure about the hotel, but when I’ve gone tickets are readily available from other fans or from the ticket office at the park.

I’ve been the last 11years (except 2020) it’s super easy, just buy GA at the ticket box office at the stadium. Plenty of hotels I normally stay off hwy 280 or hwy 30.

We were driving back to Nashville last year and decided to stop and stay the night and catch the 1st LSU vs South Carolina game. Stayed at Home2Suites in Hoover and getting tickets was not an issue at all. Don’t remember where we bought them but I’m sure I just googled sec tournament tickets.
With the new format I don’t think there will be as many fans traveling for it but that’s just my opinion.
