why are you so mad about it? why do you ONLY defend Jefferson and Miles, but you won't defend Lee? and yes I stand by my words that NOTHING ELSE EXPLAINS Miles's infatuation with such a below average, borderline scrub of a player like Jefferson. I think it is more than fair to question the possibility that something more could be going on between them. we are allowed to question it in the workplace when unfair and favorable treatment is shown to certain people, but not others. why can't we question it here when it is blatantly obvious that Miles is obsessed with Jefferson?
my best guess is that they are VERY close off the field. like a father/son type of relationship. then again it could be something more or it could be absolutely nothing at all and Miles is just messing with the fan base since he knew LSU would win the last two games no matter who played. only time will tell.

At this point, everyone know what each player is capable of. By saying Lee is going to play a significant role in our offense, he isn't surprising the other teams, he is trying to deflect hard questions.

Good response and I apologize if it seemed I have jumped at you during these conversations.
My frustration comes from posters like this jhornet guy.
I think we both can agree this guy is out of his frickin mind.

What are you talking about?
I'm not "cheers-ing" anything. It's a statement of facts.
Lee played better against Florida last year than Jordan Jefferson. These are facts.

hmmm....yeah i believe this guy when he says "ill trust the coaches"....cop out.
Again, no clue what you are talking about. Lee played poorly against Kentucky. Do you not remember that game? The boxscore is pretty easy to find, if you'd like to refresh.

want Lee to suck and am interested in tearing him down
it kinda shows above there dude....
Again, like icansee4miles, you have no interest in actual rational discussion about the issue. Any time someone critiques Lee, they are "haters" "JJ lovers" and morons.
It's the attitude and position you've adopted, for whatever deluded reason.
For me, I can say, "Hey Tyrann Mathieu didn't play well against this team." And root for Mathieu.

that's exactly the problem. Miles has lied all season long about the QB situation. he has had an agenda the entire time to kick Lee to the curb the first chance he got. he stated that he wanted to play both, but that was ONLY when it was favorable for Jefferson. Lee would march the team all the way down the field only to be pulled out so that Jefferson could receive the glory. now that Jefferson is starting, Miles has been exposed as a liar by not doing the same with Lee.

He may like Jordan a lil more, but Jefferson seems to have that charismatic personality that wins people over. All I'm sayin is that the people that are out there that don't wanna see this kid start, and say LSU is not good with him starting should admit the real reasons they don't wanna see him start and they know exactly what is. but the cowards won't own up to it.

When the alternative is a "below average, borderline scrub" as you put it, he doesn't have much choice. That doesn't mean they are sleeping with each other like you keep insinuating.

You must subscribe to the Rogerthescrubber school of make shite up. This is an embarrassing reach.
I gotta tell you, as a ranter I give you an A. You are really putting your heart into being stupid. Grats, Mrs. Lee.

The glory?
This proves you are way too emotionally involved in lee's feelings

Do you not agree both players are entirely different and bring different things to the table?
I mean, the offense is different when both play, no?
From my perspective, let's say Arkansas goes all in on JJ being the guy. They prepare for option. They prepare for a moving pocket. They prepare for more deep balls, etc.
Well, Lee is far better at the short yardage/quick release passing game... slants, hooks, play action passing... if Arkansas leaves that vulnerable, you come in and take advantage of it (which is what happened vs. Florida last year).

No, it's the fact that you went to great lengths to tear one player down and have no reciprocity. And then whine about someone else being a "lover". I don't love JL. Maybe you should try reading an entire post with the same zeal with which you tore down JL's pass plays.
I'm sorry I keep bringing that up-it actually gives you a whole lot more credibility than you deserve or have earned. I will henceforth do my best to ignore your drivel like I should have initially. Please carry on. No one is as dangerous as he who knows not, and knows not that he knows not.

People are so mad and furious because jj is the qb. It's funny as frick. Add to that, he is a better qb. I don't have a preference, but it's clear that we have a bigger more dynamic offense with jj. He has no fear and is physical. And he passes as good or better then lee.
In fact, I can't think of anything that JL can do that jj can't.

If he pulls this off and hits Arky with the bait and switch, I will retract any frustration about the situation. I just have a sneaking suspicion that Lee will get no significant playing time Friday IMHO.
