I'm not a huge fan of his, but aside from the January 9th atrocity, he's represented the school well and has done a decent job overall.

If I come across these people I simply ignore them and don't even mention lsu football. They are so ignorant on the matter its a waste of time to speak about it.

He's made plenty of mistakes, while leading the best run LSU has ever had. I will say this, he seems to be growing/learning. On assistants, QB recruiting, time management-maybe, he just has seemed to turn the corner...Always be haters, but winning will cover any deficits.

Somewhere in the world at this very moment, there is at least one individual who thinks Michael Jordan sucked at basketball. Les Miles doesn't have a prayer of winning over every fan. People bring so many biases to the table that it is impossible to not have someone hate you if you were absolutely flawless (they would probably hate you for being flawless).

not sure if you are serious. if you are, who's better. on an overall basis. in the entire world of college football, one would be hard pressed to come up with anyone, other than the PRESENT DAY SABAN, that is proven to be better. of course, saban VOLUNTARILY LEFT LSU. he ditched us. he abandoned us. he dropped us like a whore on sunday morning. but, currently, he makes less mistakes than miles. however, when he was at LSU, he made plenty of mistakes.

I was back home in Louisiana for a visit this summer and had a huge argument with my brother and Uncle who both hate him. No matter what I or anyone else says (record etc.) Saban is and will always be a god to them and Miles will never add up.

Contrary to what people think, we are not the most talented according to the services. Yet we have more nfl talent on our team this year (even with mathieu gone), then any other according to espn. Why is that?

You're obviously not familiar with this board.
Choctaw is the biggest Miles-lover on the board.

Exactly what I pointed out to the guy who told me Miles was a great recruiter but sucks as a head coach.

Recruiting is part of being a HC.
It would be like saying, "Oh, he's a good Commander-in-chief, but he makes a lousy president"
