Tebow is the perfect person to talk trash to. The kid is very emotional fragile... cries and stuff. What football player does that? He's knows he thought of as some sort of Super Christian role model, and he is too weak to stay humble and not engage in trash-talk himself.

Tebow is a very immature kid, he's the perfect candidate for trash-talk.

As for you people that think Tebow is some sort of God...

I don't think it helped out, obviously, but I mean, we trash talked against Tennessee. It only seems to be a "big deal" when it backfires and you lose.

They spun it out of control before the game even started.

He tried to pretend like it would only get him pumped up, and that he was all of a sudden some stoic warrior as if we forgot how he cried at the Ole Miss post-game PC just a week ago. A better idea would have been to actually bring some fricking pressure and let an actual legitimate defensive threat get into his head, but I guess trash talk was the best we could do.

He does get emotional after loses, but I don't think that is really a big deal. I, for one, would rather a player be emotional and show that he truly cares rather than having a player not give a shite what happens.

I agree. I think he's a great guy and shows a lot of heart, and I don't blame him for getting emotional when he believes he let his team down. He takes the blame for the loss, obviously, even as his coach throws players under the bus. I'm just saying, that to come out all of a sudden and pretend like he's some stalwart hero and that nothing is gonna get to him isn't fooling anybody.

Every great player plays with that kind of attitude, that they are the best. Is it really anything new from past and future great players?

The reason Tebow is weak is because he gets that emotional, like a little girl. Come on, Tebow, pull yourself together, you have a freaking Heisman, you are awesome, your team is awesome, get over whatever it is that makes you feel so weak.

My guess is that his older brothers or dad or classmates or someone in his life always picked on him and never let him appreciate how good he is. It's sad.

But yes, I'd rather a cry-baby emotional mess like Tebow than a player that doesn't give a crap about his team... but realistically, it is very rare to find either extreme.

It's very bizarre to be either one.

Yes, which is why is sad that such a great player like Tebow has such a low self-esteem. Florida and Urban needs get him a psychologist to help him out.
