I'm actually excited that they have a game before. That means the competition will be tougher and our young talent can cut their teeth on a team that's just a little more prepared. Better teams can help expose what we need to work on before SEC play roles around.
If we come out on top in dominating fashion, I think it's a good sign of things to come

It's a huge advantage because they. SB be as vanilla as they want and still win compfortably. I highly doubt they show us much to go on as far as offense.

Well, given that we play at Hawaii (where the 13th game rule comes into play) and open up with #12 LSU, #25 Utah and #9 Wisconsin, it was a necessary move to get us some sort of tune up game. This is the first time in Independence that we have had the luxury of a tune-up game. Our seasons success depends on winning as many of these September, October P5 games as possible so no, it wasn't a "Chicken shite" move at all. What is Chicken Shite are all the SEC schools scheduling FCS cream puffs.
BTW, I just love how some on here think they are just going to walk all over us while implementing a brand new offensive scheme with a new coaching staff. That's just not realistic.
