It is becoming watered down at this point. It used to not be an every year thing and it took a truly rare talent to wear it once it became an official tradition.

Sorry but 7 is ruined. You will never wash the Giles out of it and anyone given that number will automatically produce 25%+ less than they would with their original number.
In all honesty, I haven't really felt like #7 was lived up to since LF7 had it. Wish it was reserved for generational type players.

If it isn’t yet it will be soon. Somebody gets it every year now even without being an All American.
