I think most fans pay thousands of dollars now.
I would hope that you go to the game to support the team, provide them with a raucous home field advantage, motivate them to persevere with your cheers, use your voice to interfere with the other team's execution, and generally express appreciation for your beloved alma mater.
That's why I go. And that's why it doesn't make a great dea of sense to me to leave a close SEC game early.

Alright guys we can do this all night long. You have the right to do whatever you want with you money. I have the right to complain and "cry" about empty seats because I can't be there. I guess you're right, it is a jealousy issue.

TS isn't what it used to be, except for a couple of big games each year. I think you can thank TAF for that...all of the corporate BS is ruining the atmosphere. It does seem that alot of sideline seats are the empty ones...

It's a catch 22....the ones that pay the bucks for our great facilities, etc. are the ones that leave early and leave when it rains. You can't complain about Tiger Stadium being corporate and not give up all the great things we have with the "corporate money."
Although, the thing that does bug me is all the big whigs that left early are probably the ones that say, "I've been waiting for football season for 8 months" and brag to all their friends what an intimidating place Tiger Stadium is.
