I doubt America would want to watch an interconference BCS game. America hates the SEC and wants to see us fall. With Bama and LSU in said game the BCS trophy would be in the SEC yet AGAIN no matter the outcome.
Face it. We're the bad guys, we are the "Evil" football empire. Everyone one of the old powerhouses have fallen to the mighty SEC. Maybe a little guy like Boise St can take down Goliath. Or maybe one of the old power houses can muster up enough to finally defeated the mighty SeC.
Rematch is for the NFL's where the same teams play year in and year out. There is no variety there, with College Football there is over a hundred team that would like to take a shot at said trophy. Of course all they need to do is just beat the mighty SEC.
