What he is trying to do is not let this turn into anymore fuel for the fire between he and LSU fans, thus making it more difficult in teh future. In all reality it's not about him against LSU other then the fact that he coaches at a different school now. It's no different then him against Tubby or Meyer I promise, people like him don't see it that way... They see it as they are going to try to kill them all the same. Saban is trying to keep his team focused on what they have to do instead of having to field questions about shite that happened before they were even at Alabama. Is it going to turn it into more of a circus SURE but is he trying to do what best for his team YES.
That being said I hope we show his arse what it feels like to be on the recieving end of an LSU arse whipping again just like every other time he's coached against LSU.
