dont recall talking to you. never said the treatment was good. but posts like "gator fans prob are too dumb to know we have two NC's" deserved to be called out as stupid.

same here. at the bar after I had UF fans buying me drinks and being very respectful towards my feelings. Their tailgating definitley leaves a lot to be desired, and the bars were extremely fricking expensive. All in all, I had a good time.

Sorry to hear that most of you had a less than desirable experience in Gainesville. It is true that we have some a-hole fans, I like to attribute it to the carpetbagging yankees that have started to matriculate at UF; most southerners know how to behave.
As far as tailgating goes, when you are the best, everyone else sucks. LSU's gameday experience is the best in the world, so anything else is going to be a letdown. This is one of the things I wish the Gators would improve on, drastically.
Cops! Christ these guys are assholes. I have even had run-ins with them. It's a shame that they behave the way they do and treat our guests in such a manner. In the future you should park and tailgate on campus as the open container rule is "lifted" on football Saturdays. We have been tailgating by the engineering buildings for years with no problems.
I hope ya'll come back in '10. I love LSU fans and would be very disappointed to not have you in the Swamp.
To the guy wearing the purple shorts (Easter egg lavender actually) in Publix Saturday morning, those are way worse than jorts!

anyone who lives in gainesville knows about the helicopters. the reason they were out is because the county has them, so they use them. i've been kept up during the week because they will sometimes just hover over a neighborhood until the wee hours of the morning. i guess if you get a $3.1million grant for a new toy, you might as well use it.
as for my experience, i sat in the UF student section with another UF grad student from baton rouge. with the exception of one jackass that the other students quickly threatened, we had a lot of fun with the exception of the score. the tailgating here does suck.

Yea, and espically since I only wear them on gameday. FWIW they used to be darker and have faded.
