But it's acceptable to boo the opposing team (composed of amatuer athletes) when they run on the field in Tiger Stadium?

Lee was booed in the first quarter on the first drive on his first incomplete pass.
Ouch, Was it during the play where he threw it to a defender and luckily the defender dropped the ball?

I got to admit,
I had some
coming out of my mouth on some of his bonehead plays.

i do think that. I was extremely pissed in the 4th cus he wasnt trying. Almost two pick 6 in a row. And if he was trying then you guys need to face reality and agree that he just sucks, or is just not ready to start.

Only in the pros, 'cos they've already been paid.

I think this. Actually I think his best move would be transferring. He would do a lot better some where else.

Just a joking jab at the guy. Not out of hatred or anger.. its just that he broke the NCAA record for Pick 6's and he'll be in the record books for awhile.
Plus, you obviously can see that i dont believe he should be playing but im not gonna boo the kid and curse him like others in the section may do

Was J. Lee the inspiration for your user-name?

I agree on not booing, but its going to happen. I def booed but not at him cus it's not his fault they kept trying to throw the ball when we should have just kept running kw at them. Still i find it hard to believe he tried his best.

Nope believe it or not...threw 3 Pick 6's in a Madden '06 game and my friend Frankie called me "Mr Pick 6"
The J.Lee thing is just a weird coincidence i swear

Fan's booing players has always made me mad, I can understand coaches but it's not like the players aren't trying as hard as possible

How does one specify who they're booing at?
When the fans didn't boo right after a "near pick-6," or an incompletion, but started as the punt team was going on the field. They were booing Miles mainly, and the bad play-calling.
Also, I believe twice there was mock applause after LSU ran the ball after pass plays failed. They weren't all cheering K. Williams, that's for sure.

meh i think he was at first, 4th quarter he just gave up and threw the ball up for grabs cus he didnt want to get sacked. that is pussy shite. Also did you notice him standing on the side of the field by himself after the toliver hit? he is not a leader.
You have learned alot about a young man by simply watching his football career. Your pussy arse would have hung it up well before the 4th quarter after playing through boos from the start of the game.

But honestly, is Shep that much better of a thrower? I talked to a few receivers i know and they say he isnt.
Better than whom? Just J. Lee, or Lee and Jefferson?
Also, even if Shepard's not "that much better of a thrower" than Lee(?), he can run the ball himself. That's something we all know RS can do very well, and Lee just can't.

I will boo if I see poorly thrown balls to wide open receivers too many times...
That my friend deserves a boo...
I don't directly boo at the player, I boo to make a point... How else am I going to tell the coaches I had enough of seeing poor execution.
If that is the case, I would hope you boo JJ just as much for the same Earth-shattering mistakes. But, something tells me your dumbass watches JJ overthrow a receiver, then thinks of 3-4 excuses to defend the poor pass on the Rant after the game.
If I am wrong, and you do not use an unnecessary double standard, I stand corrected.
If you boo when you see poor execution, have you enjoyed a game this year? Its fricking 18-23 yr olds doing their best to live up to the unrealistic expectations that dumbasses such as yourself put on them. JL quarterbacked LSU to its 8th win of the season. The coaches thought that JL gave LSU the best chance to win Saturday night. And although we barely won, RS at QB may have been a loss. So who the hell would you have replaced JL with? A QB that you have never seen practice, yet you KNOW is going to do better than JL?

Don't go to the game, I'm sure when they realize you aren't there they are going to do whatever they can to accomodate you in anyway... You know, since change is needed because John wants it changed.

If RS is half as good as every JL and JJ/JL hater thinks, then he would blow the coaches away and be starting. I mean, after all, they get paid to win, and if RS is the guy that gives them the best shot, why wouldn't they go with him?
Oh, thats right. Because he isn't this year. Maybe 2010, but in 2009, JJ followed by JL are the best chances to win. And the gap between JL and RS is quite large, as evident by the huge leash that JL got in the Tech game.

Yeah, sometimes youth is wasted on the young, but not always.
My wife and I (don't ask me how) made it through grad-school together at LSU, and just as the football program funds many other sports, we paid a good portion of undergrads' tuition there. But that's a good thing.
Also, that's the way it was when I got my bachelor's degree at another school. Still is. Not just tuition, but annual alumni giving as well.
Oh, well. We knew the risks...
