The dreadlocks of doom

I LOVED seeing that big bastard on the mound. Endless intimidation.

Not my favorite player, but someone that deserves some love, if for no other reason than winning the TN game in 10.

Mauck and Flynn...leaders who played smart football. Maucks throw to Green vs Georgia, and Flynns bomb vs Auburn was my two favorite plays from them.

With the talen LSU has year in and year out, all we need is someone to manage the game and not turn the ball over. Dosen't seem like too much to ask does it??

I think they will always be loved by LSU fans. Hell Mauck was the "original" 18.

Matt Flynn, though he might have been inconsistent at times, when the game was on the line, he was ice cold. Jacob Hester for pure heart and excitement. For Youtube worthy, highlight reel unbelievable moments, none better that i can recall than TM7. Honorable mention: Patrick Peterson

I concur with this assessment.

Laron Landry - big hits
Craig Steltz - lets just say Laron taught him well
Kelvin Sheppard - Great leader and motivator
Matt Flynn - Great person and good leader on the field
Ruebon Randle - great athlete and very humble
PP7 - fears no WR, awesome athletic ability
Last but not least and he isnt a player but Coach Les Miles - whether you want to admit it or not....great coach even though some games even though a win is just hard to watch

Hester who trucked a Tenn DB and told him- You better watch out. There's a man coming through here.

Honarable mention to Richard Dickson who was always a solid TE and played a hell of a game against Ohio State to help secure our 2nd BCS Championship.

It is a FAVORITE player thread, NOT the BEST players. I loved his energy and demeanor.

Gotta be LaRon Landry. Best DB since Tommie Casanova, and there have been some great ones in between. The cat could lay a lickin with speed to burn and started as a Frosh.

Kyle Williams.

Non stop motor. Always seemed undersized but unblockable. One of my favorite players all time not just the past decade.
