You are correct. I just checked the box score and Cummins was indeed charged with a passed ball. The run would be considered earned ONLY if a subsequent event would have scored the run anyway. A review of the 7th inning play by play shows the event was an out at home plate for the 2nd out and then the next play was the 3rd out. IMO, the run should be unearned
