Doesn't matter what kind of release he has if he still throws the ball at the receivers feet.

Has anybody in this thread discussed why JJ's helmet has a white stripe on it?

BTW: Did any one else notice that one of the pictures was Cameron Fordham? I thought he was also asked to take a grey shirt in addition to Porter?

why are we playing with nerf balls?

I'm pretty sure the ball has that pattern on it to help receivers focus in on the ball as they catch it. It's supposed to help the receivers build a good habit of looking the ball in.

Should it surprise me that people are dissecting JJ's throwing motion on a photograph with absolutely no context as to which play was run?

This is the rant. Nothing should surprise you.

Because people on this board are insecure. It makes them feel better about themselves.

Doubt it. Your over-analyzing the situation in order to try to be unique. People are discussing it because it's a fan message board, everything gets analyzed, it's the offseason and there's not much to talk about, it's new football info and we've been starved for info for 6 months, and there's a legitimate concern that JJ's throwing motion is not correct.

Agreed. There is a certain personality type that gravitates to pointing out what they consider the flaws in others or in situations where they themselves do not have to do anything to improve the situation.

You see it movie and book critics, some little league parents, QC people in some industries and a host of others. Nothing necessarily wrong with it. It's just a safe way for them to express opinions without having to back them up.

Yeh, its kind of funny how after this thread he advocqte put out that article explaining the intent for the diff colored balls... Apparently they only use during receiver drills, with number placed on ball that they have to call out after a catch... Actually its a pretty great idea... I initially thougt those were our practice balls all the time, but theyre not
