UF when playing well, could beat them, not by much.
If a team winning or not depends on whether they are "playing well" they are probably not the best team in the country.

It's really weird about Stafford and Tebow. When I watch them I am sure that Stafford is just better but then i look at their stats and Stafford looks very average while Tebow looks like superman, of course this year not as much, but still their offense is much better overall and statistically than Georgia's.
And still when I watch them in person I would take Stafford over Tebow, Moreno over Florida rb's, and possibly even Green over Harvin...can anyone explain this to me...am i stupid?

Graham Harrell, Zac Robinson, etc. have far better stats too.
Totally different offenses. Georgia will never beat teams 60-7. We are a pro-set, I-formation offense looking to control the ball and the clock... and get the win (i.e. Stafford having a much better starting record than Tebow).

Controlling the clock is good, and very important at times (see LSU's 4th quarter last week) but isn't it the offenses main job to score points? Sounds like Georgia (and their fans apparently) are misguided.
Graham Harrell and Texas Tech look pretty good this year and today by the way.
All I am saying is there just seems to be a disconnect between Georgia's offensive talent and their production...just seems weird is all. I guess we have our answer now though, Thank you.

This is absurd. They might well be the best team, but it's damn sure close. Since Ole Miss beat them at home, there are probably 15 teams that could beat them on a given day. Like anybody else in college football, they can't just show up and win. They have to play well.

florida
is the best team in the country and it's not even close. They are grossly underrated
Don't forget they're playing against Kentucky. I think Florida/Texas would be a great matchup...USC too, not sure if Florida would win though- it's not hands above, for sure.

What happens on a day when such a high-scoring offense is really off... and it's in a tight game where it needs to come from behind... or run clock or not turn the ball over with a 4Q lead?
Florida scored huge points last year... but was unable to close out games or come from behind late against 4 different teams.

Georgia is averaging 25 yards/game more than Florida. Some red zone problems (and not as much scoring off special teams) have kept our point totals lower than UF's. We also have arguably the worst OL in the conference.

Well, he's right about one thing... Stafford is massively overrated. He's all arm strength and nothing else. Couldn't read a coverage if his lfie depended on it.
Nice call.

Yes nice call indeed. Stafford is under-rated if anything!

I hope the Georgia players are as confident and nonchalant as you are smu douche. Does your memory fail you that florida has OWNED georgia the past 15 years? Bama is good not great and absolutely destroyed you in your backyard. Georgia has been largely unimpressive all year and Florida will expose your deficiencies.
But keep on thinking Stafford, Knowshon, and Green just need to show up to win the game..

they are grossly underrated. THe most underrated team i have ever seen.
they clearly have the most talent. Good bit more then usc imo. They would beat texas pretty good
Whoa there buddy. Florida very well could be the best team in the country, but to say other teams aren't even close is insane. There are other teams with comparable talent. USC, Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia, just to name a few. And no they probably would not beat Texas really good. They may be a touchdown better, but don't get carried away here. Texas is a really good team.
