The running game from Tenn made them look very plain... Spikes looked terrible that game, at least the 2.5 quarters i watched of it... So maybe it depends on who shows.. A lot of misdirection on our part would take em i think...Tenn gave us the blueprint to beat them on offense and defense... Tenn does not ahve a QB and it made them very 1 dimentional... we can capitalize on what they started...

I am really amazed that everyone is so confident that we will win. Seriously. I have doubts. We are young at a lot of positions. I am afraid the game will seam so big to the players that they are to nervous to execute. To afraid to make mistakes.
Florida is a veteran team. A very good one. The best.
I agree anything can happen in tiger stadium. But i don't think florida will fold under one of our comebacks.
I DEFINITLEY could be wrong.
so i am approaching this game as NOT a must win, but for entertainment.
If they give it their all, and it's a good game and we still come up short, i am ok with that.
But seriously, it's going to be a tall order. I just don't want to get very upset. Just want a good game and would like to see our offense improve.

My problem is and always has been, the coaches calling the right plays. I watch auburn and just about crap myself thinking what they would do with our players.
All the talent in the world is no good if they know excactly how you are going to use it. they have the speed on D to match our skill players. You have to have misdirection. Hell, even a decent play action or draw, bootleg would be nice.
But the same ole stale fricking option aint going to cut it.
I am telling you, if we come out with the same ole, we get beat. Bad.
All the intensity and tallent in the world cannot overcome some of the shitty playcalling we have seen. Agaist florida anyway.

Easy. Your O stayed on the field longer. It's the ultimate D, keep the other team's O off the field.
Oh, got ya'. I could see that having a more dramatic effect if we were a "grind-it-out" type of scoring team. Since our running game is primarily done with "speed backs" and not the Hester type of back (slower but with more power) we don't usually eat up a lot of time with O possession. We have, but you normally see that when we're trying to shorten the game while ahead to protect the lead. In any case, it's an interesting point...I guess that's why they play the game huh?

This^^^^ If you dont think Lsu will score 65 and there is no chance FU scores then you cant post here. According to some, there is no way LSU can lose.

I have seen many more posts saying LSU has no chance at victory than sayng we cannot lose. The majority claim LSU will win.....but it is an LSU board.
My prediction: LSU 21 - Fla 17
as long as we make a good showing, I will be happy. Our young men need to keep improving.
GEAUX TIGERS!!!

my prediction was lsu 30 fl-27
we all know the gators have all returning starters back from last years defense. with that being said, the best team they have played is
tennessee, wow.imagine that, it was only a what 10 point game? yes they have excellent speed, but so do the tigers. fact is the gators have yet to face the speed they're gonna see tomorrow. IF the tigers can open up their playbook a tad,get out to an early lead, avoid pick 6 syndrome, they win.

How many points do you realistically think we will score on the best d in the nation?
UThug has one of the worst QBs in the SEC & scored 13 on "the best d in the nation".
quote:
this is the matchup without a doubt. Our O versus thier D
Just watched replay of UF/UThug game, and Vols were able to run the ball pretty effectively, even with a known liability at QB.

I am sorry, but thinking with my head says we don't do so well.
If the Tiger "O" plays with confidence and can mix run & pass, this game is very close in the 4th quarter. UF defense is beatable, but LSU will have to control TOP & get some TDs inside the red zone instead of settling for FGs.

The story of the game will be LSU's D, not Florida's.
