why is it called a "day wish"?

Also, are you living in a cloistered location or something like that? Are there others with you?

"That doesn't match up... "

Day WIsh for LSU doesn't mean to Day Wish that LSU wins. It means that as an LSU fan if you make a selfless Day Wish that you will be rewarded threefold. It's not hard to understand, is it?

No, would that I were. I am in Dallas at the moment though I spend time volunteering with a mission and also starting up a group for abandoned children.
It is called a Day Wish because it is good for one solar day from the time of wishing. I typically Day Wish each morning upon waking.

If you daywish in hope of it returning three fold, isn't that selfish?

Good question. Not technically, provided that your Day Wish is sincere in its nature.

Mr. Lunchbox. I come to this board, and have for several years, because I miss interacting with LSU fans. Like any other message board poster I seek to inform based on my own experiences. I suggest that you avoid my threads from now on as I seem to rub you the wrong way.

It is your loss, not mine.

I'm sorry if this note to you is a tad harsh. It is not meant to hurt, but to open your eyes to a world that is greater than the one which you know.

Best of luck.

So what exact experience are you referencing here? Are you trying to say that your day wished won us a baseball championship last year? You aren't informing anybody of anything.

A post from you could never be harsh. You have good intentions, but you go about getting your message out the wrong way.

It's similar to the Jesus freaks that come to Free Speech Alley. They sit there and tell us how wrong we are and how we should behave a certain way lest we burn in eternal fire. When someone questions their logic, they retort with more of the same garbage and never really answer the question.

Your idea in and of itself isn't that bad, but you try to push it way to hard without trying to explain some of the contradictions. You come off as a cult leader, and that bothers a lot of people on here.

Most here are fans. WE say the Tigers are going to kick arse, kill Tebow, etc. Then you come in here with your day wish stuff and it rubs people the wrong way.

All I'm saying really is tone it down a notch and maybe some people may be more responsive... just not me though

Bandwagon I just have one question for you and your "Day Wish". If you think it will come back to you three fold if you wish for something UNSELFISH like wishing for the LSU team to come out of the game unhurt, etc. Sorry, that is very selfish. UNSELFISH would be to make a "Day Wish" that every team member, coach, official and fan would come away from the game unhurt. Think about it. If u just just pick the LSU team....that would be VERY selfish....either way, u r a quack.
