We haven't been up tempo at all, even before O meddled. All we had was shite motion. There was 1-2 hurry up plays right after a decent play but thats it. We are as slow as we have ever been.

Obviously QB is most difficult. Even if not making calls like protection, still have to know what is being called.
I'd say 2nd most difficult is OL with RB right there with them followed by WR.
If I had to guess for OL and RB, a total of 20hrs of studying to truly know the calls- personnel, formation, and play. That's just knowing what you're supposed to do. Walk through and running plays is a different story.
Play changes out of familiar formations (adjusting opponent to opponent) take very little studying and a fair amount of at least walk through.
Again, excepting QB, full speed is most important to OL. If you can't get to a defender or spot in time for the point-of-attack shite just don't work. Angles don't work, therefore fundamentals/strength don't work. You have to be able to get there first. If a defender has blown that up by reaction time or just sheer speed, it gets ugly. Hence the importance of the scout team.

After State he eliminated tempo.
Out of your list, this is the closest to ringing correct...for me anyway.
Watch this team on offense and it's like watching a slow demolition derby. Slow to the point of attack, one defensive hit typically disrupts the play to the point of ending it and others. Note here, that things do appear to speed up considerably when Brennan is in, but still timing is lacking for some reason.
This continual comment of "learning a new playbook". I do not see anything that is at a high enough level of execution to even get past these simple shifts, motion and reverses.
Why??? Timing-timing-timing-attack-attack-attack.
Two bits worth from limited experience.
