I think you're thinking of Donnie Jones? This is Donnie Alexander the LB who was at LSU from 14-18 and went to Edna Karr. He played for the Memphis team in the AAF

You also need to make sure you don't have a failed businessman try to get the league on the same level as the NFL and run the league into the ground.
