Do you guys think having a lot of night games at Tiger Stadium is a big reason for this?
It has a lot to do with it because that is the culture of LSU football "The Original Saturday Night Live" only this one ain't from NYC, it's from Death Valley, LA! I've been to a lot of stadiums, SEC, bowl games, etc & it is true, there is NO PLACE on Earth like Death Valley on a Saturday night. Not even Death Valley on a Saturday afternoon. Don't get me wrong, Saturday afternoon crowds aren't full of cuddles & smooches for the visiting teams but if you want to see & experience the BEST atmosphere for a college football game, show up on campus at 8:00 am for a 7:00pm game & take it in from breakfast to final gun, you will see "THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH"!

The Maracana in Brazil can't hold 200K anymore, maybe it will by 2014 when the World Cup is back there, but it's being renovated because it had begun falling apart.
It's not the epicenter of World Cup soccer. The only time the final was played there was when it was first built in 1950, and Brazil LOST 1-0 to Uruguay. That's a long time ago, now.
Without reading the link, I'd say that the Bernabeu in Madrid, Nou Camp in Barcelona, Anfield in Liverpool, and maybe one of the Turkish venues would be up there.
They're fantastic, intimidating, loud, fun, abusive....But NOTHING like Tiger Stadium.

I've been to all the SEC schools (4 of the 10 on this list) and there is absolutely NO WAY that Tenn. is a tougher place to play than UF and UGA.

the only flaw this list has is that it doesn't list the fact that on november 3rd 2007 bryant denny stadium in tuscaloosa alabama will be the loudest on earth ever, ever ,ever times 20 to the 2nd power plus 1. sorry lsu...doesn't look like an sec team wins the nc this year. oh well. can't win every year.
wow this alabama fans prediction was a little bit off

"As much as I`d like to say that Georgia should have been closer to the top, their`s no doubt that LSU is the toughest place to play in College Football. Those Cajuns are nuts!!!"
I noticed and appreciated this comment by a Georgia fan (located below the pic of Dorsey running onto the field).

Since everyone is ranking LSU the toughest place to play on a Sat night, and they talk about how much fun it is, then why do the networks always seem to put us on TV during the day?

Autzen #1 and it's not even close. Unless you are talking about drunkin' fools beating up opposition fans...then yes, LSU takes that infamous honor.
