one of Miles best attribute as it appears is his personable personality ...
it is also what's keeping him from making the hard choices....
he has kept Crowton
he gave us a disaster with co-DCs.

Being "liked" is a privilege, he must learn to also be the enforcer as well.
Like it or not, it falls on him.

If he can get this under control, he will become a much better personnel manager.(HC) You can be strong without being a bastard.

Apology accepted, we all have been negative a time or two, now it is time to rally behind him 100%.
The thing that bothered me most is who will we get that is better.
Help me help those young men and women who serve us.

Thank a Veteran

With an offense ranked around 100 two years straight, lets all give praise to the Les for the awesome job he has done providing well executed offensive schemes.

Don't apologize, it is a sign of weakness.

Right, like kicking RP off the team when we had no other QB who had played a down wasn't a hard choice.

true about every coach in the world. look at stoops, tressel and others. damn good coaches but sure lose a lot of big games.

Just look at Butch Davis at the end of the bowl game with Tenn. He ended up winning the game, so it didn't get that much play, but he handled that situation about as badly as Miles did the Ole Miss game last year. It can and does happen to lots of coaches at least sometime in their career.

Don't worry there will be a lot folks eating crow in the next three years. I really think Michigan fans will look back on this deal in 3 years and be glad it worked out the way it did.

+1. LSU is my team and this is no time to be hatin; however, the expectations for Les will be very high next year. Anything less than the West division title and the knives will be out. I'll root for my team and hope for the best, but I'm not going to overlook Les's obvious faults.

I have been quick to go off on Miles but I didn't want him to leave but i did have the attitude if he wants to go let him go. I believe he did turn down UM so now i feel I should be proud to have him at LSU. I just hope he gets rid of GC.

Thanks for posting this thread. I'm happy to see the Miles critics are finally understanding what a special coach we have.

Be careful with the word "special"...Les has a way of portraying himself in many special ways.

1. You don't hope you are wrong. You want LSU to lose.
2. You are a child. You can turn any game around with empty suppositions.
3. You discount the talent on other teams because you have no clue.
