I for one don't want a wet field. You never can be sure how a wet field will effect a game. It tends to help the running game, but it can also hurt a good pass rushing defense. Traction is important for db's as well.....if the ball is dry but, the field is slick, a good passing team can actually have an advantage since the wr's know where they're going.
