I wondered the same thing for years until my girlfriend and I saw the guy who holds the flag at the LSU/AU game in 2006. He said that ever since he retired, he and his wife go to every "College Gameday" game...no matter where it is! He said that he had been doing it up until that point for about 2 years...I have looked for him at every college gameday set since then, and he hasn't missed one Must be the good life!!! I would love to be able to do that
