Yea already seen that, I still stand by my statement

I do think that LSU is a great program and has been for a long time,
Then why did you say: "We've only been good for a few years"?
Posted on 3/3/10 at 10:47 am to Nuts4LSU
I was referring to an elite status of the program, didn't mean to put just good, satisfied?

first thing I think of when I think of crowton
Yes, sort of like in word association exercises, when people think "left" when they hear "right" or "down" when they hear "up". Diametrical opposites often remind people of each other.

Sure I'm not the first and won't be the last to say you're WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you may be confusing elite with historic.
It appears Princeton is the elite of the elite.
I don't know how two NC in the last 6-7 years would not put a school into the elite status'
How many programs have two NC since the BCS was started? Seems hard to me to deny any that due of their elite status, but each to our own.

Anyone care to opine what the offense would have looked like had a RSFR and SO not been starting the past two years?
This is it for Crowton, IMO. JJ has had 3 years in the system.

Read the post above and pay special attention to the last phrase:
I understand you are speaking bout all time. I just don't think that says LSU could never be seen as elite.

First off I'm confused on what above post you mean
but I also agree that one day LSU can be an Historically elite program, but we're just not there yet, and probally won't be with GC as the OC IMO

The Wizard
Crowton is starting to remind me of the "Professor"
If he and Miles got extensions this year the AD needs to get fired.

When somebody does that, that means they agree with the statement

You said nice original thought earlier

It probably would have looked better because it obviously would have been better coached. A coach good enough to spend 2008 actually developing a QB for 2009 not only would have had a better QB than we did in 2009, but also probably knows what he's doing a lot more than our coaches do.
2008's offensive problems would have been excusable if our coaches had spent that year developing someone for 2009. But they wasted 2008 not developing anybody, so they were right back in the same position in 2009. Barring a miracle turnaround by Jefferson in 2010, it looks like they wasted 2009, too.
